Katherine Price graduated Master of Music from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 2001 and now continues her training in London with Dinah Harris.

Katherine has performed throughout the UK, performing various operatic roles, most notably an outstanding performance, in 2005, of Musetta in Puccini’s La Boheme with Opus 1 Music Ltd. In July 2004 she performed the role of Queen Isabella in the British Premiere of Philip Glass’ The Voyage.

Katherine was the vocal soloist for puppeteers FaultyOptic; this was in an Opera North commissioned tour in 2004 and included performances in the Linbury Studio, Covent Garden, the BAC & ICA, London and in Groningen, Holland.

In 2006 and 2007 Katherine was a valued member of the Opera Holland Park chorus. In February 2008, Katherine was invited to sing Richard Strauss’ Four Last Songs with the University of Manchester Sinfonietta. Katherine sang with Grange Park Opera in their 2008 production of Offenbach’s Bluebeard.

In August 2008 Katherine sang chorus with the Buxton Gilbert and Sullivan Festival for their productions of The Gondoliers and Iolanthe.

Katherine will be singing the role of Anna in Operatique’s March 2009 production of Donizetti’s Maria Stuarda.
