National Youth Choir
Jonathan Cooke Limited was contracted in 2007 for a six month period leading up to the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain’s 25th Anniversary Gala concert in April 2008. During this six months, JCL worked mainly with the media, organising interviews and features about the choir’s 25 years. JCL also dealt with the invitations to the gala event, liaising with the guests and Birmingham Symphony Hall with regard to the seating plans and reception catering. The 25th anniversary gala programme was created and edited by Jonathan Cooke Limited and designed by Grade Design. The production of the 44 page souvenir programme involved working with the designers and NYCGB in creating the new logo for NYCGB, corresponding with all the gala performers and patrons, presidents and supporters of the National Youth Choirs, as well as a number of celebrities and politicians including the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg. The gala was a huge success and a delight to be involved with.
