Jonathan Cooke

Jonathan is a music enthusiast who has studied and performed in a variety of musical styles all his life. He graduated with a degree in Music from Huddersfield University and later gained a Diploma in Arts Management from Roehampton University.

Jonathan set up his own artist management and promotion company in 2005 and rapidly expanded his portfolio of artists to include composers, conductors, pianists, singers, ensembles and choirs. In 2008 Jonathan Cooke Limited launched its new record label JCL Records. Following continued success in the field, 2010 saw JCL move from artist management solely into public relations and marketing for arts organisations and individuals.

When he is not at his desk, Jonathan continues to support and promote musical endeavors in many different fields. He has run the Flora London Marathon twice, raising money to support music in the Brompton and Harefield Hospital, and also to contribute to the music therapy trust Jessie’s Fund.

Jonathan continues to try and imrove his backhand and serve at his local tennis club, is a full member of CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, supports Reading Football Club.
